A bowl of fruits, a piece of pancake, a piece of omelette, a piece of toast and a cup of coffee. This can be defined at best breakfast.

Kiyomizu-Dera (清水寺) one of the Buddhist temple in Kyoto. It is one of the Historical Monuments of Ancient Kyoto UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was founded during the Heian Period where Kyoto is the capital of Japan. The name Kiyomizu (clear water) if from the waterfalls that run within the complex. The building was built without using any nail for the entire structure, sounds like some Malaysia ancient palace such as Istana Kenangan, Kuala Kangsar and Istana Lama Seri Menanti, Negeri Sembilan. This is also one of the reason Kiyomizu-dera was nominated as The New Seven Wonders of World and got into the 21 finalist. Unfortunately, it wasn't picked. The temple complex have several shrines in it and one of the famous shrine is Jishu Shrine dedicated to Okuninushi, God of Love and Good Matches (save this shrine for the next post^^)
Beside the main hall is a waterfall that was separated into 3 channels, Japanese believe the water have wish-granting powers.
Fushimi Inari-Taisha(伏見稲荷大社) the head shrine of Inari,It is located at the Fushimi-ku,Kyoto,Japan. "Inari" Is the God of Rice. If my memory serves me correct, this is the place where by the last scene of the Memoirs of Geisha was filmed. The little girl running through the "torii" (鸟居).
In this shrine, we can easily notice statue of Fox known as "kitsune" with keys in their mouth. Japanese believe the fox is the messenger and the key is for the rice granary.
There are a few thousand of torii in this Shrine, each of them was donated by a someone and their name will be written on the torii.
Kyoto the historical city of Japan, formerly the imperial capital of Japan before Tokyo gained the title. It is a city that packed with temple, palace, castle and historical places and rich in cultural. It is also the best place to visit during the Sakura Season. But you need to be lucky to enjoy the blooming of Sakura and basically Sakura can be found anywhere around Kyoto Area (or it's just my confusion of Sakura with other flower *look alike*)
Kiyomizu-dera(清水寺) and the "Philosopher's Walk" (哲学之道) are considered some good places to enjoy the blooming of Sakura.
