A nice photo is made by several factor, the main criteria are aperture, shutter speed and ISO. Besides that focus, composition, lighting, even timing played a very important role in making a nice photo.
Starting from the day i picked up film photography, i have been shooting for the purpose of finishing a roll of film. "Hey, left 2 exposure, hmm, let simply shoot and finish it". This is against my actual purpose of picking up film photography
This is because i afraid i might missed the shot, taking more exposure will let me have a guarantee feeling that i will nail the shot. But after the film developed, of the 10+ exposures i realize none of them I am satisfied with. Some of them underexposed, some of them have skew horizon, some are not well composed.
10++ exposure of Kodak Portra 400 professional film ended up came back as some lousy photo. This is so sad.
So, i need to make a new resolution:
LOOK, THINK AND SHOOT SLOW, SLOWER & SLOWEST
